We also explored at a molecular level the expression of sulfonylurea receptor 1 (SUR1) and transient receptor potential melastatin 4 (TRPM4), previously described in the brain of patients with multiple sclerosis [14], in subarachnoid hemorrhage[15], in cerebral infarcts[16], and in posttraumatic brain contusions[17].
