Then, the correlation between the KCNMA1 and PTK2 was examined in gastric cancer tissues, and the result indicated that the expression levels of KCNMA1 and PTK2 were significantly correlated in a negative direction (r = −0.364, P < 0.01, Fig. 4b), which was further confirmed by the GEO data (r = −0.25, P = 0.036, Fig. 4b) (GSE29272). This evidence concerns the gene PTK2 and gastric cancer.
