Several studies have identified known lncRNAs that are abnormally expressed in melanoma [45–47], such as SAMMSON [32], HOTAIR [20], SLNCR1 [22], BANCR [33], SPRY4-IT1 [18], ANRIL [34], Llme23 [35], UCA1 [36], MALATA1 [36], GAS5 [37], H19 [38], CASC15 [21], PTENP1 [39], and MIR31HG [40].
