There are several studies that have shown that down-regulation of CPPED1 expression improves glucose metabolism in adipocyte [63]; PCP4 plays an anti-apoptotic role in human breast cancer cells [64], and CBLL1 promotes cell proliferation in the early stages of tumor progression [65], whose genes were deregulated in CD4+ T cells of HIV-1-infected chronic progressors in our current study. Here, CBLL1 is linked to breast cancer.
