SETBP1 and asthma: Backward stepwise linear regression (controlling for age of admission, personal allergic rhinitis and asthma, and other blood markers) showed the serum anti-SEB IgE level was positively associated with S. aureus (B = 0.027, p = 0.046) and S. epidermidis (B = 0.033, p = 0.043) isolations, objective SCORAD (B = 0.445, p = 0.007), clinical signs (disease extent (B = 0.554, p = 0.006) and intensity (B = 0.099, p = 0.012)) and CDLQI (B = 0.421, p < 0.0005).
