In the present study, we have investigated the mechanisms of anticancer activity of two pentacyclic triterpenoids, namely ursolic acid (UA) and betulinic acid (BA) against phenotypically distinct breast cancer cells MCF-7 (ER+, PR+/−, HER2−), MDA-MB-231 (ER−, PR−, HER2−) and SK-BR-3 (ER−, PR−, HER2+), especially we were interested if UA and BA may modulate glycolytic pathway. Here, ERBB2 is linked to breast cancer.
