In our study, we selected 15 SNPs in beta-2 adrenergic receptor (ADRB2), G protein β3 subunit (GNB3), glutathione transferase Pi 1 (GSTP1), and TH genes, which have been reported to be associated with pulmonary diseases, including asthma, HAPE, lung cancer, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) [16–20]. This evidence concerns the gene GNB3 and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
