The experimental results showed that 9 out of 12 glioma tumor samples display higher proN-cadherin amounts than in the control samples, whereas the remaining 3 tumor samples express lower proN-cadherin (Figure 1A, Supplementary Table 1), this is consistent with results of the microarray analysis that N-cadherin mRNA levels are higher in the majority of GBMs than normal human brain [13]. This evidence concerns the gene CDH2 and glioma.
