In agreement with our histopathological data that showed that downregulated PTENP1 was associated with bigger tumor size and more frequent lymph node metastasis, our transwell migration assay showed that high PTENP1 levels impeded cell migration and invasion, further demonstrating a tumor suppressive role of PTENP1 in GC cells (Figure 4A–4D). This evidence concerns the gene PTENP1 and gastric cancer.
