Rearrangements of the oncogenes BCL6, BCL2, as well as MYC are well documented in DLBCL, and MYC translocations are recognized to confer a worse prognosis in patients treated with cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisone (CHOP), with or without rituximab (R) [17–20]. The gene discussed is BCL2; the disease is diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
