Once again, in keeping with existing research reports [17–19], we show that age and glucose were predictive of serum CTRP1 concentrations; furthermore, we report for the first time that DBP and CTRP12 were predictive of serum CTRP1 levels; the case can be vice-versa as CTRP1 has been shown to stimulate aldosterone production and could lead to hypertension [21].
