Serum levels of total bilirubin (TBIL), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), total bile acid (TBA), prothrombin time (PT), international normalized ratio (INR), carcino embryonie antigen (CEA) and model for end-stage liver disease (MELD) Score were lower in CHB group than HBV-associated cirrhosis and HBV-associated HCC groups, while levels of total protein (TP), albumin (ALB), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), choline esterase (CHE), cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), red blood cell (RBC), platelet (PLT) were higher for CHB relative to HBV-associated cirrhosis and HBV-associated HCC groups.
