In addition to known primary antimicrobial resistance genes and associated regulatory elements, namely oqxAB for CIP20, the arn/pmr operons for CST6 and blaKPC3 for IPM21, we identified 35 non-essential chromosomal genes/operons involved in CST resistance (Table 1), and single chromosomal genes involved in resistance to CIP and IPM (Table 2). This evidence concerns the gene CST6 and hereditary sensory and autonomic neuropathy.
