More than one autoantibody is seen in AIP patients and some other antigens like lactoferrin (LF), carbonic anhydrase (CA) II [27, 28], pancreatic secretory trypsin inhibitor (PSTI) [29], amylase alpha 2A [30], and type IV collagen [31] may also be involved in the pathogenesis of AIP. The gene discussed is CA2; the disease is autoimmune pancreatitis.
