Some of the commonly identified mutated or deleted genes in pleural mesotheliomas such as BAP1 [67], NF2 [71], LATS1,2 [63, 72-74], PBRM1 [67], TP53 [75-77], AURKA [78], CDKN2A [79], RB1 [80], BRCA2 [81], CCND1 [82], SETD2 [83], SMARCC1 [67] or PCNA [84] are also found in other cancer types.
