The present article provides evidence, for the first time, that miR-802 expression is down-regulated in human PCa tissues and cells, and miR-802 could suppress EMT of PCa cells through directly inhibiting Flotillin-2 (Flot2), a member from flotillin family that serves an important role in the pathogenesis and progression of human malignancies [13]. This evidence concerns the gene FLOT2 and posterior cortical atrophy.
