DICER1 and urinary bladder cancer: A recent study shows that the change of DICER in BCa may alter the miRNA expression and be involved in the development of the disease in that the attenuated DICER expression can induce a decreased level of invasion-associated miRNAs in BCa such as in the miR-200 family, miR-205, miR-31, miR-148a, miR-149 and miR-106b and further potentiate the invasion of bladder cancer cells [97].
