The Chi-squared test was used to evaluate the correlation of PAK1 expression with age, PSA, pathology, Gleason score, DRE, metastasis, haematoglobin, AKP, Neutrophil/achroacyte, Complaint and hypertension, et al. The expression of PAK1 in PCa patients was found to have statistically significant correlations with PSA and prostate texture, while the expression of PAK1 in BPH patients was found to have statistically significant correlations with haematoglobin and prostate texture (Table 1). The gene discussed is KLK3; the disease is benign prostatic hyperplasia.
