TPM1 and cancer: The survival curves show that a high-level of TPM1 significantly improved five-year overall survival (59.5% vs. 31.1%; hazard ratio, 0.45; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.25 to 0.77; p<0.01) and five-year cancer-specific survival (61.9% vs. 26.7%; hazard ratio, 0.44; 95% CI, 0.24 to 0.77; p<0.01) in OSCC patients, compared with those with low-expression of TPM1 (Fig 1C).
