GOT1 and viral hepatitis: A HA case was defined as any symptomatic case of acute illness with a discrete onset of any sign or symptom, consistent with acute viral hepatitis (e.g. fever, headache, malaise, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and abdominal pain), and either (i) jaundice, or (ii) elevated serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT or SGPT) or aspartate aminotransferase (AST or SGOT) levels, and (iii) confirmed by testing for anti-IgM hepatitis A virus (HAV), from 1 April to 31 December 2016, in the population of refugees residing at hosting facilities (camps and others) in Greece.
