To further confirm the results from public datasets, we examined the expression of TMSB10 in two normal breast epithelial cell lines and eight breast cancer cell lines by real-time PCR and western blotting, and found that mRNA and protein levels of TMSB10 were upregulated in breast cancer cells compared with NMEC1 and NMEC2 (Fig. 1d and e). Here, TMSB10 is linked to breast carcinoma.
