Univariate analysis of 103 patients with cholangiocarcinoma revealed that histological type (P = 0.015), lymph node metastasis (P = 0.035), vascular invasion (P = 0.0001), perineural invasion (P = 0.017), and KPNA2 expression (P = 0.0004) were significantly associated with overall survival. This evidence concerns the gene KPNA2 and cholangiocarcinoma.
