By using oral tolerance model for possible suppression of experimental multiple sclerosis development in mice, it was documented that the reduction of Th1 response was followed by the reduced secretion of a number of pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as IL-1α, IL-6, IL-9, IL-12p70, MIP-1β, RANTES and Eotaxin53.
