GPT and juvenile dermatomyositis: In our patient, the combination of probable proximal muscle weakness, the rise of some of the muscle enzymes (LDH, ALT, AST) and an elevated ESR, extensive calcinosis cutis and minimal, but distinctive cutaneous lesions (heliotrope rash, possible Gottron's papules, skin ulcerations, and alopecia) make the diagnosis of JDM very likely.
