BCL2 and neuromyelitis optica: These results might help identify clinical applications for enhancing the treatment of NMO; however, the study was not restricted to subgroups of CD4+ T cells and, thus, we need to test which kinds of CD4+ T cells have aberrant Bcl-2 and its promotor expressions in further studies, which might explain why MS patients have elevated subtypes of CD4+ T cells but with relatively regular Bcl-2 expression.
