In this study, we first pinpointed MNSOD as a vital protein in the kidney tissues from clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS), then attempted to identify and quantify crucial sites of oxidative modifications of MNSOD using high resolution LC-MS/MS and Progenesis LC-MS software, respectively. Here, SOD2 is linked to nonpapillary renal cell carcinoma.
