Western blot using mAb NCC-M53, a monoclonal antibody against dysadherin, showed that dysadherin is highly expressed in papillary (TPC and BCPAP), follicular (FTC236) and anaplastic (8505C) thyroid cancer cell lines (Figure 2), consistent with the immunohistochemistry data. This evidence concerns the gene FXYD5 and thyroid gland carcinoma.
