To date, more than 15 loci have been identified for glaucoma, and the causative gene has been identified for 5 of these loci: GLC1A (MYOC/TIGR) [5, 6], GLC1E (OPTN) [7, 8], GLC1F (ASB10) [9, 10], GLC1G (WDR36) [11], and GLC1H (EFEMP1) [12, 13]. The gene discussed is MYOC; the disease is glaucoma.
