Our model is further supported by the fact that high expression of the ADAM12 gene correlates with poor prognosis in 196 patients with TNBC and, most importantly, in 59 patients with the MSL subtype of TNBC, but not in a general breast cancer patient population (Fig. 7c, assessed by the Kaplan-Meier Plotter online tool, ref. [39]). Here, ADAM12 is linked to breast cancer.
