Immunohistochemical analysis of the clinical relevance of E2F1 expression in ovarian carcinoma showed that E2F1 expression was statistically significantly elevated in type I tumors (Table 1) compared to normal ovarian tissues (Figure 1A, 1D) and was positively associated with International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) stage I–II and III–IV disease. This evidence concerns the gene E2F1 and ovarian carcinoma.
