In line with this views, we found that the numbers of cyclinD1 or c-myc- positive cells were also significantly increased in colon tumors from Adamts18 KO mice in comparison to WT tumor cells [cyclinD1 positive cells (%), WT vs. KO, 39.4 ± 5.4 vs. 61.3 ± 9.5; P = 0.0002; c-myc positive cells (%), WT vs. KO, 36.8 ± 7.4 vs. 51.4 ± 4.5; P = 0.0008] (Figure 4C–4F). The gene discussed is MYC; the disease is colonic neoplasm.
