As such, miR‐15b has been reported to regulate Wee1, Bcl‐2, cyclin E, cyclin D and/or IGF‐1R expression in several types of cancer, and many of these genes also play important roles in drug resistance and apoptosis resistance (Carthew and Sontheimer, 2009; van Oosterwijk et al., 2012; PosthumaDeBoer et al., 2011; Wu et al., 2012; Xia et al., 2009). This evidence concerns the gene CCNE1 and cancer.
