To study BTZ resistance in DS-AMKL, and its interaction with conventional chemotherapeutic agents used in the treatment of AML, we generated BTZ-resistant variants from the CMY and CMK cell lines, respectively, designated here as CMY-BR and CMK-BR, by exposure to stepwise increasing concentrations of BTZ up to 200 nM in CMY, and 100 nM in CMK (Table 2). Here, CASC3 is linked to acute myeloid leukemia.
