In contrast, eight mRNAs were exclusively present in PC-3 MVs, some of them include CAV2 gene, a cell cycle regulator involved in PCa progression [27]; the GSTP1 gene, whose hypermethylation is one of the most frequently observed aberrations in PCa [28]; PES1, CAMSAP1, and CCND1 genes, up-regulated or correlated with PCa development [51–53] and the ZNF185 gene, which is frequently reported to be dysregulated in PCa [54]. This evidence concerns the gene CAMSAP1 and posterior cortical atrophy.
