PRF1 and Huntington disease: In HD, innate CD8(+) T cells express more cytolytic activity than does their conventional/memory [KIR/NKG2A(−) Eomes(+)] CD8(+) counterpart, as attested by their more elevated perforin expression [71.4% ± 5.3 (n = 10) and 42.4% ± 9.1 (n = 6), respectively] (Figure 2B), and natural antibody-dependent cytotoxicity through CD16 as a lysis receptor [26.4% ± 6.2 (n = 6) and 11.4% ± 3.5 (n = 6), respectively] (Figure 2C).
