Remarkably, this function was not maintained in innate CD8(+) T cells from CML-CP patients, in which IL-12 + IL-18-induced intracellular IFN-γ expression was virtually undetectable [0.7% ± 0.1 (n = 6) vs. 0.4% ± 0.02 (n = 5) in their conventional/memory counterpart], as compared with HD (24.8% ± 1.2 (n = 6) vs. 1.4% ± 0.8 (n = 6) in their conventional/memory counterpart) (Figure 2A).
