Histopathologically, α-synuclein accumulates in the central nerve system (CNS) to form Lewy bodies in some diseases like idiopathic Parkinson's disease (PD), Lewy body dementia (LBD), and multisystem atrophy (MSA), called alpha-synucleinopathies [11, 12].
