Following poly(I:C) stimulation, epithelial cells derived by nasal polyps released significantly higher amounts of IL-25 (from 0.12 ± 0.06 pg/ml to 0.27 ± 0.1 pg/ml, p < 0.01; Figure 1) and TSLP (from 0.77 ± 0.5 pg/ml to 2.53 ± 1.17 pg/ml, p < 0.001; Figure 2), with no change in IL-33 (from 2.25 ± 1.2 pg/ml to 2.57 ± 0.9 pg/ml, Figure 3). The gene discussed is IL33; the disease is nasal cavity polyp.
