High CACNA1B (Cav2.2) protein expression was significantly associated with gender (Pearson χ2 = 5.108, P = 0.018), tumor size (Pearson χ2 = 9.435, P = 0.002), histopathology grading (Pearson χ2 = 9.222, P = 0.010), lymph node metastasis (Pearson χ2 = 10.541, P = 0.005), and smoking (Pearson χ2 = 4.415, P = 0.029) (Table 1).
