In order to evaluate the clinical importance of myeloid cell-derived adenosine production, we analyzed six publicly available neuroblastoma patient datasets (in total 1687 entries) and demonstrated that expression of CD73 and CD39 genes was only consistently correlated with myeloid cell markers CD163 or CSF-1R (Table 1 and Fig. 5D). The gene discussed is ENTPD1; the disease is neuroblastoma.
