In the present study, the patients with low miR-BART20-5p expression showed a better RFS compared to the patients with high miR-BART20-5p expression, which is consistent with our previous report, where miR-BART20-5p reduced BAD expression in EBV-infected gastric cancer cells by directly targeting the 3′-untranslated region of BAD [13].
