Molina et al. 25 proposed a six marker panel (CEA, CA 15.3, Squamous Cell Carcinoma Antigen –SCC–, CYFRA 21.1, Neuron Specific Enolase –NSE– and Progastrin-releasing Peptide –ProGrp–) for patients with suspected LC based on the criterion of any of the markers elevated, proving a sensitivity of 88.5% and specificity of 82%, not validated. This evidence concerns the gene ENO2 and laryngotracheoesophageal cleft.
