The estimated sensitivity of urinary [TIMP-2]*[IGFBP7] for the diagnosis of AKI was 0.84 (95% confidence interval (CI) = 0.80–0.88), the specificity was 0.57 (95% CI = 0.55–0.60), the positive likelihood ratio (PLR) was 2.47 (95% CI = 1.95–3.14), and the negative likelihood ratio (NLR) was 0.28 (95% CI = 0.19–0.40), with a diagnostic odds ratio (DOR) of 10.19 (95% CI = 6.23–16.67). Here, TIMP2 is linked to acute kidney injury.
