KCNA3 and experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis: Kv1.3 blockers have also been reported to be efficacious in animal models of T cell mediated delayed-type hypersensitivity (DTH), experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis, arthritis, autoimmune diabetes, transplantation, allergic dermatitis and psoriasis [6, 7, 25–33], raising the possibility that Kv1.3 blockers may have the potential for treatment of human autoimmune diseases.
