In CD8+ T cells of NT1 patients, CD69 expression was increased (16.5 ± 3.0% in HD vs 34.5 ± 5.7% in NT1, p = 0.003) whereas CD28 expression was decreased compared to CD8+ T cells of HD (78.7 ± 2.6% in HD vs 67.1 ± 5.3% in NT1, p = 0.032) (Fig 1D). This evidence concerns the gene CD28 and Huntington disease.
