Considering the key role of immune responses in breast cancer, we validated our findings by analyzing gene expression data from three publicly available breast cancer datasets, comprising 394 ER-positive (luminal; 56.4%), 262 ER-negative/HER2-negative (37.5%), and 43 ER-negative/HER2-positive (6.1%) breast cancers. This evidence concerns the gene ERBB2 and breast carcinoma.
