As long as the PLS regression method is commonly used for biomarker selection in metabolomic [39] and gene expression [40] studies, the other DEGs listed in the Table 4 (Gabbr1, gamma-aminobutyric acid B receptor 1; Mpo, myeloperoxidase; S100b, S100 calcium binding protein B; and Serpine2, serpin peptidase inhibitor, clade E, member 2) may also be indicated as deserving a high priority in future investigations of molecular mechanisms of the stress-sensitive hypertension.
