Gene expression analysis of glioma cells migrating in vitro and invading in vivo has identified several gene candidates potentially involved in cell invasion and survival, including the tumor necrosis factor-like weak inducer of apoptosis (TWEAK) – fibroblast growth factor inducible 14 (Fn14) signaling axis [14, 15]. The gene discussed is TNFRSF12A; the disease is glioma.
