Since INK4a acts as an inhibitor of E2F transcription factors, we also examined the RNA expression levels of two E2F targets, Cyclin A and Cyclin E. RNAseq data were obtained from TCGA data for 111 laryngeal tumors, and we compared RNA levels of Cyclin A and Cyclin E for 75 tumors with CDKN2A hypomethylation and 36 tumors with CDKN2A hypermethylation (Fig. S5). Here, CDKN2A is linked to laryngeal neoplasm.
