It has been widely reported in the literature that many cytokine and chemokine genes (e.g., TNF-a, IL-8, CXCL2, CXCL3, CXCL10, LIF, IL-17C and IL-23A) are the basis of autoimmune disorder pathways that are characterized by inflammation. Here, CXCL3 is linked to autoimmune disease.
