SNRPN and preeclampsia: Development of preeclampsia was associated with 1.3 fold (p < 0.05) increase in methylation of SNRPN in maternal blood relative to normal third trimester blood, while molar pregnancy was associated with 1.26 (p < 0.05) and 1.33 (p < 0.01) fold decrease in SNRPN methylation relative to normal first and second trimester blood respectively.
